Jean makers say Natasha Wagner has the most perfect butt in America making the internet go nuts.
The Fit model made headlines six years ago for having the “best bottom in the country” after this Vogue article detailed why her backside was literally “shaping a nation.”
At a time when it seemed like Kim K, Beyonce, and Iggy Azalea possessed some of the most sought-after curves in pop culture, it was Wagner who attracted designers from the world’s most popular denim brands. GAP, Levi’s, and 7 For All Mankind were just a few of the brands that used the fit model’s “perfect butt” to their customers a product that felt like “perfect fit.”
Here’s what makes her derriere so perfect. Wagner is 5-foot-8, has a 28-inch waist and she has a butt that is exactly medium-sized. So if jeans look good on her, they’ll look good on women across a vast range of sizes.
She says, “If you fit jeans on a very small size, a size 24, the model is going to be very thin and not have a lot of butt…likewise, if you start out with a large size it will have too much curve. So if you start in the middle, my size, it means the jeans will fit almost anyone in that range.”
She’s actually been described as having “the Goldilocks of behinds.”
“Fit models are probably the most important people that you’ve never heard of in the world of the denim industry. They’re not like runway models. What they’re looking for in a fit model is the perfect average. Basically what they want is somebody who’s slim, but has a curved bottom.”
Well, there you go.
