We are heading toward the 25th anniversary of the Gumball 3000 rally and you know that it will be amazing. This affluent rally of who’s who is an adventure that anyone would love to be on, and if you are wealthy enough you do just that.
The rally started back in 1999 when Maximillion Cooper gathered a group of his buddies to drive their super-cars across Europe.
It is a 3,000-mile journey and aimed at wealthy individuals, with the entry fee for the event costing $8,700, and the participants must use their own vehicles. Well, judging that there will be an anniversary coming up celebrating its beginning you can say that the rally was a hit and it continues to be a draw for the rich and fabulous.
The rally is not just a drive across beautiful landscapes but it also includes fantastic parties for these wealthy individuals to rub elbows with over seven days.
The rally that started with wealthy people began to attract celebrity names over the years and where it was once only occurred in Europe it has now made its way to the United States.
The event that started just as a group of guys wanting to drive around has grown and they have even launched a clothing line.
The apparel is manufactured and designed in-house, with designs influenced by previous Gumball 3000 events and motorsport.
Since the launch of the apparel brand, there have been a number of collaborations with major fashion houses. These collaborations have included Puma, Adidas, and Nixon. Then Maximillion Cooper decided to take this swanky event one step further and decided to launch a Gumball 3000 Foundation to benefit the underprivileged youth in the United Kingdom.
Now, they are planning for the next rally coming up in 2022 in Toronto, Canada and I am sure it will be a huge draw!
