Since the late aughts, the combination of the camera- and internet-equipped smartphones, social media, and good old-fashioned human nature has been making it easier than ever to accidentally broadcast your most intimate moments (and areas) to the world.

“Harry Potter” actress Emma Watson caused a stir at an event for the wizard flick when a gust of wind blew up her skirt, exposing the young star’s skivvies.
But much like her onscreen alter-ego Hermione Granger – Watson is staying calm and collected over the Marilyn Monroe-esque incident. “At least I’m wearing underwear,” she said in an appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman.”

Cheeky! The Paper Towns star accidentally flashed a little more than she meant to at the London premiere of Pan on Sunday, Sept. 20.
Wearing a teeny-tiny, feathery getup with see-through mesh panels, the model-turned-actress, 23, bent over to interact with fans and inadvertently flashed her underwear to cameras.

The singer’s frilly dress might not have been the best choice for her concert on Good Morning America in September 2008 in NYC’s Times Square. A gust of wind blew her dress up, giving the audience a noticeable rear view. She tried her best to hold down her dress and took a short pause before continuing with the show.

The wind has never been a friend of Lohan’s. The star — who was also photographed getting off a boat sans underwear in 2006 — flashed her slip and black panties after being caught off guard by a heavy breeze at the MTV Movie Awards in L.A. in 2008.
In our lives, many have probably had an accident happen but it certainly does not cause the ripples these celebrities get to endure in social media. They probably will not be the last but these talented artists remind us we are all humans after all.
